Setting Up Servicing Director SWBC as an Outsourced Insurance Vendor

You can set up your system to use SWBC as an outsourced insurance vendor. Perform the following procedures in the order listed:

  • Set up an Unknown insurance payee. If you receive insurance records with no insurance company information, the system will assign them to an unknown payee.
  • Set up warning statuses for the SWBC Insurance import.
  • INSCANX warning: This warning is applied if the policy on a loan is cancelled.
  • RSCHHAZ warning: This warning is applied if the loan needs to be researched because there is another insurance policy on the loan that does not match the insurance record on the import.
  • Set up outsourced insurance cross-references

To set up an unknown insurance payee, perform the following:

  1. Open System Administration, click Setup, select Payee, and then click Open. The Find Payee screen appears.
  2. Click New.
  3. Enter Unknown in the Payee ID field, and enter information as needed.
  4. Click OK.

To display a warning if the policy on a loan is cancelled, perform the following:
  1. In System Administration, click Setup, select Warning Status, click Open.
  2. Click New, and then enter INSCANX in the Warning field.
  3. Enter warning status information as needed, and then click OK.

To display a warning if a loan has an insurance policy that does not match the insurance record on the import, perform the following:

  1. In System Administration, click Setup, select Warning Status, click Open.
  2. Click New, and then enter RSCHHAZ in the Warning field.
  3. Enter warning status information as needed, and then click OK.

To set up outsourced insurance cross-references, perform the following:

  1. In System Administration, click Setup, select Outsourced Insurance, and then click Open.
  2. Set up cross-references as needed, and then click OK.
