Signature Cards Do Not Display for Savings Accounts when You Cash a Check under Other Check > Savings in EZTeller

EZID images are not displayed for a savings account when you cash a check under Checking > Other Check > Savings. The image will display during savings deposits and withdrawals.
 

Workaround:

The account types on the EZTeller Main Menu  (Checking, Savings, Loans) determine which EZID images will display.
When processing transactions under the Checking menu, EZID returns images for checking accounts with that account number.
When processing transactions under the Savings menu, EZID returns images for savings accounts with that account number.

In order for savings account images to display when processing Checking > Other Check > Savings, you will need to save the image in EZID as both a savings and as a checking account.

 

  1. In EZID go to Image > Maintenance and select the savings account
  2. Click on the saved signature card or driver's license
  3. Click on Reassign
  4. Select Chk and type the savings account number in the Account Number field
  5. Click on Copy then Close

 

The image is now saved as both a checking and a savings account and will display for EZTeller transactions under the Checking and Savings menus
