Superview32 CTR FinCEN 104 Form Is Outdated

The Currency Transaction Report (CTR) form printed by Superview32 is outdated because updates and enhancements are no longer being made to this version.

As of July 1, 2012, all banks are required to file CTRs electronically on the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) website. Banks are no longer permitted to submit printed forms.

Environment:

EZTeller32

Workaround:

Follow the steps below to create and submit a discrete file as a workaround:

  1. Tellers process cash transactions and enter CTR information at the time of transaction.
  2. Cash transactions are consolidated as usual.
  3. In Superview32, managers review the CTR records and print the older form for their own records.
  4. The appropriate staff manually enters the EZTeller32 data through the FinCEN website to file CTRs electronically.
