This article details supported environments for Servicing Director servers, clients, and interfaces.
Client
· Microsoft Windows Vista (32-bit and 64-bit)
· Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit)

· Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit)
· Processor 1.0 GHz or faster, 1GB memory, 3GB hard drive space (disk space requirements will vary; if you archive documents on the client, you may need more space)
· Microsoft Word 2007, 2010 or 2013
· Microsoft Installer 4.5 or later
· Additional required Windows updates available from Microsoft (the Servicing Director 15.3 installation will install these if not present):
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Native Client 10 (2009.100.1600.1) or later (x64 or 86, as applicable) - Provided with Servicing Director installation media
· Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010 Run Time version 13 available from SAP - Provided with Servicing Director installation media
· Laser printer: Servicing Director supports most Windows-compatible printers
· Adobe Reader for viewing PDF format documents; free download at www.adobe.com
· (Optional) SAP Crystal Reports XI or 2013 user edition for the PC (if you design reports)
Server
· Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (32-bit and 64-bit)
· Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2
· Microsoft Windows Server 2012
· Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2
· Processor 2.0 GHz or faster, 4GB memory (should be increased as database size increases to ensure optimal performance), 6GB hard drive space (disk space requirements will vary; estimate 1GB of hard disk space for every 1000 loans; if you archive documents on the server, you may need more space)
· SMTP server access is required for Servicing Director automated emails
· SQL Server:
- SQL Server 2008, SQL Server 2008 R2, SQL Server 2012; Express, Standard, or Enterprise editions; (x86 or x64)
- Estimated disk space requirements for the Servicing Director databases is 1 GB per 1000 loans (per environment)
- The SQL collation sequence must be SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS; this is set during the SQL Server installation and cannot be changed
- SQL Server Cluster servers are not supported for Servicing Director. The Servicing Director database is not tested or designed for a SQL Cluster server.
- SQL Server database replication is not supported for Servicing Director. The Servicing Director database is not tested or designed for a database with replication enabled.
- Before you install Microsoft SQL server, review the Servicing Director SQL Server Required Configuration Settings article for all required settings.

- Microsoft System CLR Types for Microsoft SQL Server 2012 SP1 (x86), and (x64) on Windows 64-bit systems, from the SQL 2012 Service Pack 1 Feature Pack (Add to all versions of SQL server, including SQL 2008, but it does not apply to a Windows 2003 server)
- Microsoft SQL Server 2012 SP1 Shared Management Objects (x86), and (x64) on Windows 64-bit systems, from the SQL 2012 Service Pack 1 Feature Pack (Add to all versions of SQL server, including SQL 2008, but it does not apply to a Windows 2003 server)
· Internet connectivity and browser for downloading and installing product updates and patches as needed and used to support interfaces
Note: Servicing Director cannot be installed on a Microsoft domain controller.
Virtualization
Servicing Director is supported in a virtualized infrastructure. A technical conference call will be scheduled prior to your installation; this call includes network configuration review, analysis, and formal recommendation. You may also request a technical conference call or a formal site visit after the initial call if needed.
