System Requirements for Servicing Director Customer Self-Service 14.2

This article details supported environments for Servicing Director Customer Self-Service servers and clients.

IMPORTANT! Some Microsoft products listed in this article are past their Mainstream Support End Date. D+H follows Microsoft’s schedule in supporting products required for Servicing Director as follows:

  • Limited Support Phase is a one-year period following the end of Microsoft’s Extended support. We will not test Servicing Director on the operating system or actively seek to fix defects in our software that are directly attributed to incompatibility with an operating system. We will continue to support our software, when run on these operating systems, in the capacity of troubleshooting and actively seeking workaround solutions.
  • No Support Phase begins at the end of our Limited Support Phase; one year after the end of Microsoft’s Extended Support. We are no longer obligated to troubleshoot or offer technical support for Servicing Director when run on operating systems that Microsoft has declared non-supported for one year or longer.

    Note: Servicing Director 14.2 is the last release that can be installed on Windows Server 2003.

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2
  • Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
  • Microsoft .NET 4.0
  • Microsoft Installer 4.5 or later.
  • Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) configured on the Web Server
  • Adobe Reader for viewing documentation delivered as PDF files; free download at www.adobe.com
  • Dual Core Intel Pentium or AMD 1.8GHZ or higher processor; 2 GB RAM or more; Hard disk with a minimum of 4 GB free disk space

General Requirement

  • Servicing Director Customer Self-Service 14.2 requires your Servicing Director database to be version 14.2

  • Customer Self-Service cannot be installed on a Microsoft domain controller
