Teller is Prompted to Select a Workstation ID Every Time EZTeller is Launched on a Win7 PC

EZTeller reads the ezenterprise.ini file on startup. If permissions are not setup properly on the Win7 PC, the software cannot access the file and you will be prompted to enter the information again. You are prompted to select the workstation ID when starting EZTeller as if this was a new installation. Someone else has been using this Win7 PC for several weeks.

Workaround:

 

Ask your network administrator to make these changes on the Win7 workstations:

  1. Give All Users full permissions on the C:\ProgramData\EZTeller folder.
  2. Turn off User Account Controls (UAC).
