Teller with Override Role is Unable to Override Their Own Transactions

Teller has been assigned a supervisor role so that they can override transactions when none of the managers is available. They are no longer able to override their own transactions.

 


Environment:

EZTeller Enterprise 6.0 and newer

Workaround:

In EZTeller 6.0, a setting was added that determines if employees can override their own transactions. By default, employees are allowed to override their own work.

In the past, any employee with a supervisor role could have overridden their own transactions. With this new setting unchecked, employees will be able to use the override role to approve transactions for other employees but they would not be able to override their own work.

 

Steps to edit the override setting:

  1. Log into Superview and go to Bank > Employee.
  2. Highlight the employee's name and Edit.
  3. The setting reads: [ ] Allowed to authorize own override.
    • Check the box if the employee is allowed to override her own work.
    • Uncheck the box if the employee is not allowed to override her own transactions.
  4. The employee will need to exit EZTeller and restart in order for the setting change to take effect.
