Transferring Servicing Director Loans in Bulk from One Investor to Another
To transfer loans in bulk from one investor to another, you can create a loan transfer import file based on a specific layout, and then run the Loan Transfer Import event in Event Manager. We recommend that you perform this procedure in your test environment first to verify that you achieve expected results.
Note: To transfer one loan at a time from one investor to another, use the Loan Transfer feature in Investor Accounting.
- Review the Servicing Director Help topics on transferring loans in bulk.
- Create your loan transfer import file. The map file information, layout specifications, and a sample import file are included in the Servicing Director Help topics.
- Open Event Manager, expand Investor Accounting > Imports/Exports, and then run the Loan Transfer Import event using your import file.
- In Investor Accounting, review the loan transfer batch called Import Batch. (The Loan Transfer Import event is used to automatically set up loan transfer batches. When the import event runs, a new batch is created with a description of Import Batch.)
- Post the loan transfer batch.
