Unable to Calculate IRR when Setting up Loan Deferred Fees
Unable to calculate IRR
Root Cause:
The most common reason for the error is that the Fee Amortization Term in the FASB screen cannot be more than the Original Term minus the number of payments. If it is, you will have to delete the record and re add it with the correct Term. (As a rule FASB works best with a term greater than 20.) Please review additional items to check:
1. Is the FASB term correct?
2. Is this an ARM loan?
3. Is this Interest only or a HELOC loan?
4. Is payment method monthly?
5. Has the principal balance been modified?
6. Is the loan current?
7. Is the original P&I payment amount correct?
