Unable To Delete an Archived Document In Servicing Director

You may find that you are unable to delete an archived document in Servicing Director.
In the Customer Service application > Options menu > Archiver screen, when you select a specific document, the Delete Document button is disabled or grayed out.

Workaround:

The disabled Delete Document button would indicate that the archived document that you are trying to delete is a system-archived document, and the Servicing Director software will not allow deletion of any system-generated-archived documents from the Archiver screen.

By design, only documents created outside of Servicing Director, which were manually submitted by a user, may be deleted.

In the Customer Service > Options > Archiver screen, there is an option to 'Submit' documents manually. If you do this, the document record gets inserted with a Y in the 'Manual' column.
Only these records, with a Y in Manual column when selected, will activate the 'Delete Document' button for you, and allow successful deletion of that selected document.

Your system administrator can use procedures in the System Administration Table Setup Archiver Options Manage Masters screen to delete system generated archived documents.
