Unable to Have Second Copy or Instance of Fusion Servicing Director on the Same Computer
Fusion Servicing Director is unable to have a second copy or a second instance of the database or applications on the same computer.
Workaround:
Only one Servicing Director database or applications is supported on a single Windows computer because there is only a single set of configuration settings for the applications in the Windows registry, limiting each Windows computer to one configuration.
If you would like a second copy or second instance of Servicing Director, such as for a test system, use a second, separate, Windows computer. For example, if you want the Servicing Director desktop applications to access two different Servicing Director database servers, then use two different Windows computers with one copy of the applications on each computer.
