Unable to load EZOFAC server when logging into program

Unable to load EZOFAC server


Root Cause:

The EZOFACENT.dll file is missing or has not been registered on the workstation.

If your OFAC product is web-based, you will also need to register the EZWebOFACENT.dll file

Workaround:

To register the EZOFACENT.dll file

  1. Log into EZTeller® and go to Help > About EZTeller and take note of the local directory
  2. Log onto the PC as local administrator
  3. Go to Start > Run and type in the open field:
  • regsvr32 "C:\EZTeller\EZOFACENT.dll" then click OK.
  • or type: regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\EZTeller\EZOFACENT.dll" then click OK
     

To register the EZWebOFACENT.dll

  1. Go to Start > Run and type the path below, using the EZTeller path you noted above
  • C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\RegAsm.exe (space)C:\EZTeller\EZWebOFACENT.dll
  • or C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\RegAsm.exe (space)C:\Program Files\EZTeller\EZWebOFACENT.dll

 

If the dll files are missing from the local drive, go to the EZTeller server folder and manually copy those files into the local drives, then register.
