Unable to Override Teller Over and Short Transactions

A supervisor can override normal transactions but is unable to override tellers that are over or short when balancing their cash.

Workaround:

Limits for overriding out of balance tellers are specific to the supervisor's role and are different than the maximum authority limits on teller transactions.


Steps to edit the supervisor's role

  1. Log onto Superview and select the supervisor's branch as your Working Group.
  2. Go to EZTeller Roles > Maintenance.
  3. Select the role in question and Edit.
  4. Modify the Short and Over Limits and Apply.

 

The default Over/Short limit for a supervisor role (Level 4) is 100.00. The manager role (Level 5) has unlimited Over/Short override authority.
