Using the Fannie Mae Loan Activity Report to Troubleshoot Rejections and Loans Missing from the FNMA LAR Export File

This article describes how you can use the Fannie Mae Loan Activity Report to find and review loans which are reported as missing or rejected by FNMA after you have submitted the Servicing Director FNMA LAR Export file.
If you have received notification from FNMA that the FNMA LAR file is rejected or has some loans missing, you should look at and use the Fannie Mae Loan Activity Report to help you find the loans and troubleshoot the problem.

The Fannie Mae Loan Activity Report is found in the Event Manager application, Investor Accounting Category, Reports group:
  • Fannie Mae loans will report based on the Action Date listed on this report.
An Action Date could be a payment, reversal, curtailment, or removal.
  • In normal circumstances, the FNMA loan should have reported on the Action Date listed in this report.
An Action Date could be a payment, reversal, curtailment, or removal.
  • If there has been no activity in the month before the mid month date, then no Action Date will appear.
If you have reached the mid month date, and no activity has occurred, then the mid month date will appear.
  • If the Action Date is in the prior month, and the current mid month reporting date has passed, and the Action Date has not been updated, then there could be a problem. You should verify this by looking at your most recent loan cutoff record, and check the Action Date on the Remittances tab. If this problem is confirmed, you should open a Support case in Case Management.
