Adjusting Other Funds Balances and Due Dates in Servicing Director
You can adjust the other funds balance or due date for another funds record.
Servicing Director will create and then apply the other funds payment or disbursement to an other funds default record if: - An other funds payment or disbursement is not an Insurance premium amount
- Multiple other funds records exist for the loan, or
- Payment rules do not allow for the transaction
You must then determine which records to apply the funds to, and manually adjust the balance of the default record and the appropriate other funds record. When you manually apply the premium to the other funds record, it is recommended that you also update the due date.
To adjust an other Funds Balance or Due Date, - Select the Tracking application.
- Select Options.
- Select Other Funds.
- Select a record.
- Select the adjustment.
- In the Adj Amt +/- field, enter the dollar amount of the adjustment for the other funds record. Note: If you are subtracting funds, include the minus sign.
- In the Change to Date field, enter the new date that the premium is due for the selected other funds record.
- Select OK.
