Completing the Identity Section of EZTeller CTR Customer Records When There is No SSN or TIN

EZTeller consolidates CTR transactions on the customer's SSN/TIN. If the SSN/TIN is unknown or the customer is a foreign citizen or foreign business, then EZTeller will consolidate using the entity's ID. 

 

Below are steps to complete the ID Type, ID Number and Other ID on foreign entities.


Creating a New Customer Record for a foreign citizen within Superview:

  1. Go to CTR > CTR Main Menu> Customer Information and Select Customer Records.
  2. Click New.
  3. Select Foreign Individual and mark Unknown for Tax ID.
  4. Complete these fields: Name, Birthday, Address, City, State, Zip, Country and Occupation. Gender, Phone Number and Email Address are optional fields.
  5. In the drop-down menu for ID type, select Passport or Alien Registration.
  6. Complete the ID Country and ID Number fields. Use the ID State field with Mexican or Canadian ID.

 

 

Creating a New Customer Record for a foreign business in Superview:

  1. Go to CTR > CTR Main Menu> Customer Information and Select Customer Records.
  2. Click New.
  3. Select Foreign Business and mark Unknown for Tax ID.
  4. Complete these fields: Business Name, Address, City, State, Zip, and Country. Phone Number and Email Address fields are optional.
  5. In the drop-down menu for ID Type, select Other.
  • Other ID will be the documentation identifying this business or group. When the customer opened their account they should have provided a business license, articles of incorporation, or documentation from U.S. Department of State or the United Nations.
  • ID Number will be the registration or certification number on the document.

 

Note: Each foreign business will need a unique combination of Other ID and ID Number. Please consult your compliance officer if there is a question as to how to complete those fields for your customer.
