Exporting an Employee List from SQL to Compare With EZTeller Employee Information Report

Following this procedure provides an audit tool so that you can review employee lists from SQL and Superview and remove former employees as needed.
 


Environment:

EZTeller

Ask your database administrator to extract a list of employees from the EZTeller database on your SQL server.

  1. Log into SQL Enterprise Manager for SQL 2008.
  2. Locate the EZTeller Database and double click on it.
  3. Double click on Tables.
  4. Scroll down to dbo.Employee; then, right-click on Select top 1000 Rows.
  5. The Results pane on the lower right lists employee information.
  6. Highlight the Results.
  7. Right-click in the highlighted area and select Save Results As.
  8. Name the file and save as type: CSV  (comma delimited).
  9. You will be able to view this data in Excel as a spreadsheet.

 

Running the Employee Information Report in Superview:

  1. Log into Superview and select the Holding Company as your working group.
  2. Go to Reporting > Reports and select the Branch tab.
  3. Select the Employee Information Report and select V to View; then, click OK to run the report.
  4. You will see the employee names, home group, and a list of the assigned roles.
  • Click on Printer to print the report, or
  • Click on Export (envelope with red arrow) and save in your choice of formats including CSV.

 

You will be able to view the former employees listed in SQL and in Superview and you can remove terminated employees as needed.
