The Servicing Director Event Manager New Loan Letter event or C New Loan Letter event creates letters for the same loans every time it is run, and you want it to only create the letters once per loan.
Workaround:
The New Loan Letter events require event criteria.
Add criteria to your events to limit the selection of loans to the new loans that do not have a letter yet.
If you run the events daily in the Event Manager Run All events, then one suggested criteria to add to your scheduled daily event is DaysActive = 1. This way, whenever the event is run, it will only select loans which were set to active during the just completed business day, and there will be no duplication.
There are other criteria choices available, and you should pick the criteria that best fits your business needs.
The events do not consider flags, such as Comments or Archiving when selecting loans for the letters. So, even if a letter was created already for a loan, the flags alone will not prevent a loan from being selected again.
