Setting the Maximum Amount for a Money Order

The Maximum Money Order Amount field allows you to define the maximum dollar amount allowed when issuing a money order.


To set the Max Money Order Amount field, perform these steps:

Note: Superview access is defined under Security Details; if you do not have access to this module, contact your administrator. 

  1. Open Superview; the Select Working Group screen appears. 
  2. Select the Bank and click OK.
  3. Go to Profile Options > EZTeller.

Note: Depending on your working group the Group Change Warning screen might appear. If it does, click OK.

  1. Select the Transaction Settings Tab.
  2. In the Sell Check/Card Options section, enable the Max Money Order Amount by checking the box next to Use Money Order Limit.
  3. In the Maximum Money Order Amount Limit field, type the maximum dollar amount for which a money order can be issued (the default is $500.00).
  4. Click Apply. You receive the message: Profile changes have occurred on the Transaction Setting page for Bank. Do you want to save these changes? Click Yes.
  5. Click OK to close screen.

The teller must exit EZTeller before the system will recognize this change.
