After Implementing the Advanced Payment Rules Feature, you may find that Unapplied payment batches are no longer being created, even though loans have enough money in unapplied for a regular payment, and you have checked the Unapplied Option check box for the loan on the Payment screen in Customer Service or Collections module, and you are running the Build Payments from Unapplied Update event.

If you have implemented the Advanced Payment Rules in Servicing Director, there is a different event that handles posting payments from unapplied.
The normal 'Build Batch from Unapplied' event will not work in this instance.
You will need to run the event called : Advanced Unapplied Payment Post update, found in Event Manager, Payment Processing , Updates.
If a loan has a balance in debtor unapplied, the Advanced Unapplied Payment Post update will post the balance.
