Configuring the Business Day Calendar for Open, Non Processing Days

You are open on some holidays but will not be processing proof work. You want to know how to set the calendar so that memo posting is sent to the host correctly.

Follow these steps to configure the Business Day Calendar:

  1. Open Superview and select the Bank as your working group.
  2. Select Branch > Business Day Calendar.
  3. If the bank is open on Saturdays, check the Open box after Saturdays.
  4. If you process proof work on Saturday, check the box in front of Processing.
  5. To add holidays, double click on the date and select Closed or Open, Not Processing.
  • Black dates represent normal business days.
  • Red dates represent days the bank is closed.
  • Green dates represent non-processing business date.

Note: You can run batches and count your cash drawer on non-processing days but do not do an End of Day.

When EZTeller sends memo post information to the host, EZTeller indicates if the transaction is for the current day or for the "next day." If you do an End of Day on a holiday, memo posting will be incorrect.

Display Issue:

Some Windows 7 users have reported that the colors on the calendar do not change when selecting holidays. When you click on the date a second time, the message states: Would you like to remove the date from the list of holiday?  This is a display issue was resolved in EZTeller 5.3.
