Denying Access to the Servicing Director Event Manager Application
Denying access to the Event Manager application requires the two security settings described below.
Deny access to the Event Manager application.
This setting denies access to the Event Manager when opening from the System Administration application.
To edit the group security, do the following:
- Open System Administration.
- Click Security Setup.
- Click Groups in the View section.
- Click on the Group Name for your user.
- Click Edit.
- Click on Event Manager on the list of applications.
- Click Allow Access to remove the check mark.
- Leave the Edit Group screen open.
Deny access to the Event screen.
This setting denies access to the Event Manager when opening from the File>Event menu from an application.
For each application listed in the Edit Group screen where the user has been granted the "Allow Access" setting, do the following:
- Expand the list of screens for the application on the Edit Group screen.
- Click on the Event screen.
- Click View to remove the checkmark.
- Repeat for each application.
- After completing these steps for all the applications, click Close.
