Event Manager is missing events for some standard delivered Crystal Reports letters
When you search Event Manager for some Fusion Servicing Director installed and delivered letters, the Crystal Reports format version of some letters do not have an event, and only the Microsoft Word format letters are found.
This is the case for the following letters: - Alternate Sold Loan Letter
- First Payment Due Letter
- Insurance Expiration Letter
- NSF Letter
This is an issue in Fusion Servicing Director.
Workaround:
To use the Crystal Reports format of these letters, the event for the letter must be created manually in Event Manager.
The Crystal Report format document for these letters is already installed in the \SvcData\Rpt reports folder, and only the event is missing from the Event Manager application.
Here are the letter document template file names, which you use in the procedures below:
- Alternate Sold Loan Letter Template named: CALTSOLDLOANLETTER.RPT
- First Payment Due Letter Template named: C1PMTDUELETTER.RPT
- Insurance Expiration Letter Template named: CINSEXPLETTER.RPT
- NSF Letter Template named: CNSFletter.rpt
To add an event, do the following for each letter you want to add:
Set up the report as an event in Event Manager: - Open Event Manager, and then select Events > Maintenance > Events.
- Click New.
- Enter a name for the event that you are setting up.
- Select the Event Manager event category and group that you want to place the event in from the dropdown boxes.
- Select the executable Report Wrapper from the dropdown box.
- Click Criteria
- Enter the name of the report and the print orientation. You can also optionally specify the archiving options and add a comment when you print the report.
- Click OK.
- Click Close.
Optionally, add the Report to the Manage Module Reports table in System Administration: - Open System Administration, and then click Table Setup.
- Select Manage Module Report, and then click Open.
- Locate the new report on the report Name list displayed, and click on the new report to highlight it.
- Highlight the new report and then select the module(s) that you want the report to be available in.
- Click Close.
