Explanation of Servicing Director Permanent Comments Feature

This is an explanation of the Permanent Comments feature:

The data for Permanent Comments (either in Collections or Customer Service modules) is stored in the Contact table, Comment field (Contact.Comment)
There is one to one record here, so therefore it will store only the most recent change to the permanent comments.

When you create a permanent comment, it should also update the Comments table with a new record.
Each time you change an existing permanent comment, it should add a new record to the Comments table.
These Comments table entries; however, do not contain the specific comment, only that a 'Permanent Comment Added'.

The naming of the fields may be a bit misleading.
These are neither permanent in nature, nor are they really comments.
