Reinstalling Crystal Reports

Reinstalling Crystal Reports

Fusion Servicing Director includes a specific version and edition of the SAP product called Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010 Run Time version 13.0.15.1840 32-bit. The Crystal Reports application is automatically installed the first time the Servicing Director applications are installed on a computer. The Crystal Reports application is used to create and view reports and some letters in Servicing Director. While there are no clearly identified reasons to reinstall this Crystal Reports application, if you have unexpected Windows errors or Windows usage issues with the reports, you can reinstall Crystal Reports using the procedures below.
  1. Uninstall from the Windows installed applications control panel the application named The  SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework (32-bit).
  2. Delete the directory/folder the SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine was using, which by default is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0
  1. Continue using the Windows applications control panel, and uninstall the Fusion Servicing Director Application.
  2. Reboot Windows.
  3. Install the Servicing Director applications again. Installing Servicing Director will automatically also install the Crystal Reports because it will be found not installed.
  4. If the issue is not resolved, look for other software that uses Crystal Reports or interacts with Crystal Reports and/or Servicing Director, such as a Phone Dialing system. Remove other software temporarily to find which one is causing the issue.
