Early Intervention Letter

Early Intervention is required on certain delinquent loans pursuant to Regulation X 1024.39.
The Early Intervention Letter encourages borrowers to contact you and provide information about the foreclosure process, housing counselors, and loss mitigation options that may be available.
Early Intervention Letters can be located in Event Manager under Available events > Collections > Letters.
The letter will generate for loans as follows:
  • Active loans where the due date is earlier than the TransPostDate and the Early Intervention Letter has not been created in the past 180 days.
  • Options to select loans that are a defined number of days delinquents (such as less than 45)
  • Option to select loans with a particular loan type or occupancy
For each letter generated, a comment will be added to the loan,. This comment prevents another Early Intervention Letter from being generated for 180 days.
