Read-only mode starts unexpectedly

Fusion Servicing Director Read-Only mode switches all users to view-only security permissions (all edits and change options are grayed out) for all screens and fields. Having view-only permissions allows users to view borrower information and provide limited customer service to borrowers, but prevents users from entering new information or entering changes. 

Once you start read-only mode, the only user who can make changes or manually stop read-only mode is the user named ADMIN. No other user has, or can have this ability.


Workaround:

IMPORTANT! Be sure to know the ADMIN user password. Only the user with the name ADMIN can perform the following steps. If you cannot successfully log in as the ADMIN user, submit a case through Case Management for assistance and reference this article.

Once you are logged in as the ADMIN user, to stop read-only mode manually:

  1. Open the System Administration application.
  2. Click Security Setup.
  3. Click read-only. The read-only settings screen will appear.
  4. Select the read-only mode to uncheck it. 
  5. Click OK.
