Event Manager Running Events with Different Settings Than Entered for the Event
Fusion Servicing Director Event Manager is running events with different settings than you have entered for the Event. For example, you have an Event with settings to export a file using a formatting map file both known to be correct and in the right location, but you receive error messages indicating a different location or file than the one you have entered.
Workaround:
The settings for an event may come from two sources, depending on the design of the event. Usually, the settings are the combination of default event settings and the event criteria entered on the Scheduled Instances screen.
- Check the default event settings for any unexpectedly different settings:
- Open Event Manager.
- Click Events > Maintenance > Events.
- On the list of events, click on the event you are running to highlight it.
- Click Edit to open the Event Details screen.
- Click Criteria on the Event Details screen.
- Review the Event Criteria for any settings which are incorrect, and correct any settings which are incorrect.
- Click OK to save any changes.
- Click OK to close the Event Details.
- Click Close.
- Schedule a new instance of the event to clearly set new criteria settings, as follows:
- Open Event Manager.
- On the Event Manager screen, move the event you want to run from the Available Events list to the Scheduled Instances list.
- Schedule the event and specify the event criteria settings you want.
- Delete the old scheduled event from the recurring instances if the new event runs successfully.
