- Software Upgrades During Implementation Project - Do not plan or attempt to execute a Fusion Servicing Director upgrade during the course of this project without coordinating with the Finastra project team.
Product Overview
- Customer Self-Service (CSS): Public facing Web Application that enables borrowers, investors, attorneys, and employees to access loan level information through the Web.
- Fusion UltraData Online Interface: Allows for viewing of real estate loan data and posting payments from Fusion UltraData over HTTP(s). Note: Real time payments - Batch is a separate process and may still be used for other functions.
Team Responsibilities
The financial institution's designated IT resource is responsible for:
- Staging the hardware, operating systems, and network.
- Completion of pre-installation checklist items.
- Being actively engaged in the installation/technical training event.
- Ensuring database and full server backups are made after the installation, before/after any upgrades and before/after any changes are made to the server.
- Reporting issues and questions through Case Management or bringing these concerns up during scheduled project events/meetings coordinated by the Project Manager.
- Issues submitted through Case Management will be routed to the Implementation team until the project is complete and turned over to Support. Until that time, do not call Support for technical assistance.
The Technical Implementations resource will assist with:
- Installation of Fusion Servicing Director software (server applications and database).
- Assist with Technical questions and issues as they arise during the implementation phase of project.
- We will train and assist with the setup of one workstation.
System Requirements
- A Test System is highly recommended for Fusion Servicing Director.
- The Test and Production systems will be installed during the same installation event.
- SQL Server can be shared with other databases (Test and Production Fusion Servicing Director databases must be on separate SQL Servers).
- CSS - Installation must take place on the private network. Web server will be made public-facing at Go-Live.
- Fusion UltraData Online Interface - Requires an IIS-hosted Web service called SDLink.
Pre-Installation Checklist
- Purpose: When submitted, this indicates the servers are ready for the Fusion Servicing Director installation.
- Must be completed and submitted before the scheduled installation. Otherwise, the installation will be rescheduled.
- Highlights:
- All System Requirements must be installed (prerequisites).
- No Domain Controllers.
- SQL Server permissions/rights for installing database.
Meeting Wrap-Up
- Must submit pre-installation checklist one week prior to the installation.
- Discuss preferred installation dates.
- Send meeting Invite once installation date is confirmed.
