Servicing Director IRS Tax Forms Saved to File Drop Text Off the Bottom of the Form

When the Servicing Director Event Manager application saves the IRS tax forms to a file, such as a PDF file, the lower portion of the saved form has less text per line, lengthening the text so the last text lines drop off the bottom of the form.

Using the Event Manager application to preview the IRS tax forms shows the text formatting differently, with more text per line, and the last text lines do not drop off the bottom of the form.

This change in the text formatting can be caused by not having any printer selected for the forms.

Workaround:

The issue addressed in this article was resolved in Servicing Director version 13.2 Service Pack 1.

Add a printer to the form, even if you only want to save the form to a file, and not print the form.

Open the Event Manager application event criteria for the form, and add a printer to the criteria.  If you do not want to print paper copies of the form, select a non-physical printer if possible, such as the commonly available printer called the Microsoft XPS Document Writer or a PDF conversion printer.  If you must use a physical printer and do not want to print paper copies of the form, work with your IT to alter the printer request to cancel the printing or limit the printing.
