Troubleshooting Servicing Director Customer Self-Service Web Servers Using the Windows Event Viewer

To troubleshoot a Servicing Director Customer Self-Service web server issue, include checking the Windows Event Viewer for ASP.NET Error or Warning events logged at about the same time as each occurrence of the issue.


  1. Have your local IT or system administrator open the Windows Event Viewer on Customer Self-Service web server or web application server. 
  2. Search for ASP.NET Error or Warning events. Typically, the events will be in the Windows Applications log, but not is all cases.
  3. If you find an event, use your Microsoft web server support information to resolve the issue.
  4. If the issue persists, and you create a new Finastra Customer Success Community Case Management support case, be sure to include the entire text of the Event Viewer event.
