Upgrading from Windows Server 2003 to a Newer Windows Web Server Version for Servicing Director Customer Self-Service
Servicing Director Customer Self-Service 15.1 requires you to have Microsoft Windows Server versions newer than Server 2003.
Previous versions of Customer Self-Service could use Windows Server 2003, but Windows Server 2003 is not supported for 15.1 or later and could be incompatible with future versions of Customer Self-Service.
IMPORTANT! The procedure below is for your local IT or system administrator familiar with Windows and Microsoft IIS Web Server.

If you are not sure of your Servicing Director Server name, then please search the Finastra Customer Success Community Knowledge Center for the related article using the key words Servicing Director SQL Name.
Prepare for upgrading the Customer Self-Service web servers:
- Review the Customer Self-Service System Requirements. Please search Finastra Customer Success Community Knowledge Center for the related article using the key words Servicing Director Customer Self-Service System Requirements.
- Review the Customer Self-Service Installation Guide.

Review your existing website configuration settings, which you entered when you installed the previous version. Look for the following in your website configuration files:
- In each website Web.Config file, review the <appSettings> section for each “add key=" setting.
- In the ILSWeb or ILSWebInvestor Client.Config file, review the <client> section for each “url =” setting.
- Locate your existing custom company Footer.html found in your existing website file location \Includes folder.
- Locate your company logo banner image as a .GIF format file for use in the steps below for the Customer Self-Service Web and or Customer Self-Service WebInvestor pages.
- Back up your website files. If you have customized the web page styles, this back up will save your custom changes for later reference if needed.
Upgrade from Windows Server 2003 using one of the following:
- Move to another Windows server with a newer version of Windows Server:
- The other Windows server will need to meet the Servicing Director Customer Self-Service system requirements.
- Use the Customer Self-Service Installation Guide to initially install Customer Self-Service on the new server.
- Reapply any site settings, company logo, or customized web page styles or other content.
- Upgrade Windows Server 2003 in place:
