Unused EZTeller Role Shows Zero in EZTeller Role Cash Report but Has Amounts and Totals in the Cash Denominations Report

An EZTeller role is no longer being used. The teller sold money from the cash drawer to the vault and their teller cash is at zero.

The Cash Denominations report is still showing a cash total and denominations from the last time the cash was counted by the teller.

Workaround:

The EZTeller Role Cash report and the Cash Denominations report pull amounts from different tables within the EZTeller database. The Cash Denominations report pulls from the table where the last saved cash count is housed.

 

Steps to zero the amounts in the Cash Denominations report:

 

  1. Log in to Superview and, for your working group, select the branch where this role is located.
  2. Go to EZTeller Roles > Maintenance. 
  3. Highlight the role in question and click Select Employee.
  4. Verify that a current employee in that branch has been assigned to the role.
  5. Assign the role to an employee if none is currently assigned.
  6. Log in to EZTeller and select that role.
  7. Go to Admin > Balance Cash Drawer > Count Cash.
  8. Click Zero All Amounts and then click Close.
